CAMPUS SUMMARY
- With a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, UCSD is perched atop the ocean cliffs in La Jolla, an area of San Diego twelve miles north of downtown.
- A campus of the University of California, UCSD opened in 1960 with its first class of undergraduates. The campus is co-ed, a state-supported university, has no religious affiliation and is in a 1,976 acre park-like setting wooded with eucalyptus trees.
